Michele,
This is going to be a valuable project for many math teachers. I know word problems is one of the top three most difficult areas of math for students to understand. It is not because they can't read the problems or do the math, but I believe it is because the students have problems translating the English written language into mathematical symbols.
When you say "word problems and word meanings", are you refering to translations?
In my 8 years of teaching math, I have not seen a good website or CD supplement that explains word problems. I am sure that you will create a website that many math teachers will be able to benefit from.

Are you going to use the ppt you created last quarter for the group project? It would at least be a great starting point.
Michelle,
Here's an idea for a reading comprehension strategy to attack word problems.
*Reciprocal Teaching is an interactive comprehension strategy that I often use to teach reading comprehension. The four components are questioning text, predicting text, clarifying difficulities within text, and summarizing. RT as I call it, works well with whole class, but especially with small groups.
Try looking up RT online for lit review sources. There's probably plenty out there.
Good Luck!!
